Reading Screening
The Reading Screening is a web-based evaluation used to identify children between the ages of 5 and 12 years who are at risk for developing or are currently experiencing reading difficulties. The Reading Screening has been used in school systems for the past 15 years and is now available online to parents, teachers, and other professionals. With 15-20% of our nation's children experiencing reading problems or dyslexia, the best way to help is to begin understanding the nature of the individual’s reading difficulties. The Reading Screening provides understanding by identifying your child’s strengths and weaknesses with regard to reading. Once the reading assessment has been completed, a detailed report outlines which areas of reading are creating the most difficulties. A specialized reading intervention can be crafted using this information.
